Plastic for Dinner?

That's right, plastic is for dinner - but not for you.  It seems that an inadvertent discovery has been made that has scientists REALLY excited about a possible way to biodegrade plastic.  The larvae of a particular moth seems to be able to eat and digest plastic - opening up a new door into research for getting rid of the horrific plastic soup our ocean (and Earth in general) is becoming. Amateur beekeeper, Federica Bertocchini, made the discovery when removing the caterpillars from the honeycombs in her beehive.
